Italy, France, Spain and Monaco | Trip

Italy, France, Spain and Monaco are four countries I visited a few months ago. In this post, I will share with you what amazed me the most on this trip and show you some photos! Keep reading!

Hello, my lovely readers and welcome to the new post on my blog which is going to be about four countries I visited in September 2019- Italy, France, Spain and Monaco. The end of high school or the finishing grade of it is commonly celebrated in Bosnia and Herzegovina by the entire generation going to the trip. We have chosen this kind of trip where we visit four amazing and stunning countries in Europe, as most schools from my town. I can say I have enjoyed seeing the natural and the human-made masterpieces in these countries so I want to share my experience with you. I will be telling you only the highlights of this trip because if I would tell you everything, this post would be like ten thousand words, and you would probably get bored. This post will be separated into four stages and I will talk about each country a bit.

ITALY

The first country we visited was Italy and the city where we stayed was Verona. Piazza dei Signori is a square where I saw many beautiful buildings and this square, kind of, represents a place of history and beauty. he square has a number of high arches and Monument to Dante, the Italian poet. I also went to Juliet’s house and saw the famous Juliet’s balcony, which is the reason why many tourists visit Verona in the first place. I enjoyed seeing that part of this lovely town but I was more impressed with the buildings themselves, since they are different than what I am used to. I’d say they have a story somehow and it’s just beautiful. The feeling you have while walking in the streets of Verona is enjoyment. I also have to mention that Verona is known by kebabs you can buy on the streets. I tried it out and it was really good! Since I will be organizing this post by countries, I will talk about other places we visited in Italy, on our way back home.

Gardaland was one of the places we visited. It’s a famous park in Italy where you can have lots of fun, the possibilities are endless. I enjoyed spending time in Gardaland and trying out different adrenaline adventures. Although I am not the kind of person who loves to do those things- it was good and fun.

But the place which amazed me the most in Italy is Venice. I fell in love with the beauty of this town. The bridges, the streets, the water… I think I could go there a hundred times and I wouldn’t get bored of it. Venice is the kind of town which inspires you to make art, in my opinion. Pure beauty…

FRANCE

France has a lot of similarities to Italy, actually. We came to the Nice at night and we decided to go out at night to have a walk and take a look at what this town offers. At night, there aren’t a lot of people on the streets but they have interesting cafes and night clubs. We went to the Garibaldi square where the Chapelle du Saint-Sépulcre de Nice was placed. It didn’t look like a religion-related building at all and I thought it was more of a city building where political events happen. When I took a closer look and googled it, I was really surprised.

Streets in Nice are rich in beautiful yellow and green colours of the buildings and the beach is not far away, so you can walk from the hotel you stayed to the beach. The beach in Nice in the morning was just beautiful. I enjoyed having a long walk there, it was so relaxing and lovely.

Spain

Spain was the country where we spent the most time on our trip. The place where we stayed in is the famous Lloret de Mar, a town with stunning beaches and a lot to see. Lloret de Mar was always crowded and the streets were full of tourists. Their streets’ shops are great for buying gifts because their souvenirs are really cheap. From Lloret de Mar, we drove two times to Barcelona, the capital and largest city of the autonomous community of Catalonia.

There I saw ‘the unfinished masterpiece’- Catedral De La Sagrada Familia. This cathedral makes you feel so small standing next to it. It’s stunningly huge and beautiful. Walking on the streets of Barcelona, I saw El angel de la Rambla– the live statue. There were other live statues on the streets but this one caught my attention the most. It’s fascinating how she can make a statue of herself and I appreciate that kind of art. The Montjuïc hill gave me the opportunity to have a look at Barcelona harbour. It was really nice!

Monaco

And last, but definitely not least, is one of the countries I’ve been to the shortest but I like it really much. Monaco, the second-smallest independent state in the world, is all about luxury and a place for rich people, in general. We had a short visit there and it was at night so I don’t have lots of photos to share with you. Monte Carlo is beautiful and it has nice parks and buildings.

So, we came to the very end of this very long post! I often forget the details of the trips so I didn’t talk a lot, but I highlighted the important things. Thank you so much for reading and visiting my blog! Love you all so much and talk to you really soon!

xoxo

Bye, V
