Hello my lovely readers and welcome to the new post on my blog! In this post, I will share with you 10 things to do while in quarantine! I think we all get bored while being inside, especially when we are forced to be inside. I think the human brain works in that way that, when some things are forbidden, we really want to do them, and while those things like spending time outside were not forbidden, we didn’t actually appreciate them and we wanted to stay home all the time. Am I right? Write me down below! Now, let’s get into this because we want to stay safe which means stay home but we don’t want to stay bored.

  1. Focus on your growth

    I think this sounds too deep but actually, it’s very simple. You should take this time to focus on yourself, your own spiritual growth whether it is about how you treat yourself, how you treat others, the lack of happiness or gratitude you feel inside. Spend some time alone and ask yourself which things you can and should change about your personality, which things you forgot to focus on before because you were too busy and how would you like to go out of this quarantine- as the same person or as the better version of yourself.

  2. Make art

    If you love art but you thought you were too busy to start drawing, making photos, videos, writing poems or stories, etc., this is the right time to do so. For example, this quarantine time gave me the opportunity to focus on my YouTube channel and my blog more and I’m really happy I got to create this much content in the small number of days. Although I feel really sad about not being able to hug my favourite people out there, I think this content creation helped me survive this far without being depressed all the time.

  3. Talk with your loved ones on Messenger, Skype…

    I think it’s important for all of us to stay in touch with people who make us happy in these rough times. We are aware of the negativity around us and it’s really nice to have a few hours a day for staying in touch with your loved ones. They will certainly boost your mood and you will feel their presence with you.

  4. Learn new languages, take online courses and study

    There’s so much that we don’t know. There is a huge number of languages out there waiting for us to learn them! Online courses of every type have become so much cheaper and we should take this opportunity to expand our knowledge. The best part is that you determine your own studying period and you can choose what you want to learn. While in schools and universities we are forced to learn about some topics that we may not find interesting, in this case, we are our own teachers and we are deciding what we want to learn about.

  5. Cooking can be fun

    I must admit I haven’t spent much time in my kitchen before (cooking), but now, I am always searching for something new to cook because it became so interesting for me. As you see in the featured image, I made some pancakes lately and they were so delicious! I didn’t know I was able to cook at all, but now it’s something I really enjoy. Also, your food can serve you as an excellent object in your flatlay photos!

  6. Watch movies, TV shows or YouTube videos

    Honestly, I had so many YouTube videos to catch up on and I am finding something interesting every day to watch. YouTubers I started watching again recently are Hyram and Tati. Hyram talks about skincare while Tati talks about makeup. When it comes to TV shows, I am currently watching Suits and it’s really interesting but not addicting which I like. I like it when I can stop on whichever episode I want and not feel the need to keep watching but when I do watch it, it’s very interesting, if you know what I mean. I have one recommendation when it comes to movies, as well, and it’s Knives out. It’s so interesting! I am always typing on my phone while watching movies because they don’t keep me entertained, but this one… It made me watch it from the beginning to the end without blinking!

  7. Clean out your wardrobe

    I am someone who always needs at least an hour to figure out an outfit before getting out of the house and my closet gets messy so quickly. If you are like me, take one day of quarantine and clean it out, get rid of the clothes you don’t need and that don’t fit you anymore, keep them aside to donate for charity or to sell. I think we all have lots of clothes lying around waiting for better days and those better days never seem to be coming so it’s time to get rid of them!

  8. Read books

    If there are any books in your house you haven’t read already, use this free time to read because you never actually regret reading a book, no matter how good or bad it was, it always teaches you something. If you prefer eBooks, there are also cheaper eBooks to read currently due to the situation, which is really nice! I love seeing how every company like these eBook companies show their compassion and offer cheaper or free services. We can really accomplish everything if we stick together!

  9. Exercise

    Since we are eating more during this quarantine time, we need to stay in shape as well and burn those calories. I suggest installing apps on your phone and doing 30-days challenges. I am currently doing Lose Belly Fat Intermediate 30-days challenge. 

  10. Think positive

    Don’t lose hope that this will be over soon. Your thoughts have energy so make sure they are positive and optimistic. We all need to stay focused on making ourselves feel good and surviving this quarantine will be very easy.

Pozdrav, dragi moji čitaoci i dobro došli u novi post na mom blogu! U ovom postu, s vama ću podijeliti 10 ideja šta možete raditi dok ste u karanteni! Ja mislim da svima nama dosadi biti u kući, posebno kada smo prisiljeni na to. Mislim da ljudski mozak funkcioniše na taj način da, kada su neke stvari zabranjene, mi ih stvarno želimo raditi, a kada su te iste stvari kao provođenje vremena napolju bile dozvoljene, nismo ih dovoljno cijenili i željeli smo biti kod kuće cijelo vrijeme. Jesam li u pravu? Pišite mi ispod! Odmah se bacamo na posao jer želimo ostati sigurni što znači ostajanje kod kuće ali ne želimo ostati smoreni.

  1. Fokusiraj se na svoj rast
    Mislim da ovo zvuči jako dubokoumno ali zapravo, jako je jednostavno. Mislim da biste trebali iskoristiti ovo vrijeme da se  fokusirate na sebe, svoj duševni rast bilo da se radi o tome kako tretirate sebe, kako tretirate druge, manjak sreće ili zahvalnosti koju osjećate u sebi. Provedite neko vrijeme sami i zapitajte se koje stvari možete i trebate promijeniti što se tiče ličnosti, na koje stvari ste se zaboravili fokusirati ranije jer ste bili prezauzeti i kako biste željeli izaći iz ove karantene- kao ista osoba ili kao bolja verzija sebe. 
  2. Bavite se umjetnošću
    Ako volite umjetnost ali ste bili previše zauzeti da započnete s crtanjem, fotografisanjem, snimanjem videa, pisanjem poezije, priča, itd., ovo je prava prilika da to uradite. Na primjer, ova karantena mi je dala mogućnost da se fokusiram na svoj YouTube kanal i moj blog više nego ranije i jako sam sretna što mogu stvarati ovoliko sadržaja u malom broju dana. Iako sam jako tužna što ne mogu zagrliti svoje najdraže ljude trenutno, mislim da mi je ovo stvaranje sadržaja pomoglo da izdržim ovoliko dugo bez depresije. 
  3. Razgovarajte s voljenim osobama na Messenger, Skype..
    Mislim da je jako važno za sve nas da ostanemo u kontaktu s ljudima koji nas čine sretnima u toku ovih ružnih i teških vremena. Svi smo svjesni negativnosti oko nas i jako je lijepo imati nekolika sata dnevno odvojena za pričanje s voljenima. Ovo će zasigurno poboljšati vaše raspoloženje i osjećat ćete njihovu prisutnost. 
  4. Učite nove jezike, pohađajte kurseve online
    Postoji mnogo toga što mi svi ne znamo. Postoji ogroman broj jezika koji čekaju da ih naučimo! Online kursevi svakog tipa su postali mnogo jeftiniji i svi bismo trebali iskorstiti ovu priliku da proširimo svoje znanje. Najbolji dio jeste da vi sami određujete vaše periode učenja i možete birati šta želite naučiti. Dok smo u školama i na fakultetima primorani da učimo i o temama koje nam i nisu baš nešto zanimljive, u ovom slučaju, mi smo vlastiti učitelji i mi sami odlučujemo šta to želimo učiti. 
  5. Kuhanje može biti zabavno
    Moram priznati da ranije nisam provodila mnogo vremena u kuhinji (kuhajući), ali sada sam uvijek u potrazi za nečim novim što ću skuhati jer mi je to postalo jako zanimljivo. Kao što vidite na istaknutoj fotografiji, pravila sam palačinke nedavno i bili su jako ukusni! Nisam znala da ja uopće mogu kuhati, ali sada je to nešto u čemu zaista uživam. Također, hrana vam može poslužiti kao odličan objekat ili ukras u flatlay fotkicama!
  6. Gledajte filmove, serije i YouTube videe
    Iskreno, imala sam toliko YouTube videa da pregledam za koje ranije nisam imala vremena i zaista svaki dan pronalazim nešto zanimljivo za pogledati. YouTuberi koje sam nedavno počela ponovo gledati su Hyram i Tati. Hyram priča o skincare-u a Tati priča o makeup-u. Kada se radi o serijama, trenutno gledam Suits i jako mi je zanimljiva ta serija iako nije nešto na šta ćete se “navući”, što mi se i dopada. Volim kada mogu gledati neku seriju i završiti na bilo kojoj epizodi i ne osjećati se kao da moram nastaviti gledati ali kada gledam, bude mi zanimljivo, ako razumijete šta želim da kažem. Imam jednu preporuku kada se radi o filmovima, također, i to je Knives out. Jako je zanimljivo! Inače uvijek tipkam na mobitel dok gledam filmove jer me ne zabavljaju dovoljno, ali ovaj… Učinio je da ga gledam od početna do kraja bez treptanja. 
  7. Očistite ormar
    Ja sam neko kome inače treba bar sat vremena da odabere outfit prije izlaska iz kuće i moj ormar se jao brzo uneredi. Ako ste poput mene, iskoristite jedan dan karantene i očistite svoj ormar, riješite se odjeće koja vam ne treba i koja vam više ne pristaje, ostavite ju po strani da donirate u humanitarne svrhe ili ju prodajte. Mislim da svi imamo dosta odjeće koja samo stoji u ormaru i čeka bolje dane a ti bolji dani izgleda da ne dolaze pa je vrijeme da je se riješimo!
  8. Čitajte knjige
    Ako imate neke knjige kod kuće koje niste već pročitali, iskoristite ovo slobodno vrijeme za to jer nikada zapravo ne požalite čitanje knjige, bez obzira koliko je dobra ili loša bila, uvijek vas nauči nečemu. Ako preferirate eKnjige, trenutno su i one dostupne po jeftinijim cijenama zbog ove situacije što je jako lijepo! Volim vidjeti kako kompanije poput ovih za eKnjige pokazuju saosjećajnost i pružaju jeftinije ili besplatne usluge. Zaista sve možemo postići ako se držimo zajedno!
  9. Vježbajte
    Budući da jedemo više tokom ovog perioda u karanteni, trebamo ostati u formi i trošiti te kalorije. Predlažem instaliranje aplikacije na vaše mobitele gdje možete raditi izazove od 30 dana. Ja trenutno radim Lose Belly Fat Intermediate 30-days challenge.
  10. Mislite pozitivno
    Nemojte gubiti nadu da će ovo sve biti uskoro gotovo. Vaše misli također imaju energiju pa učinite da bude pozitivna i optimistična. Svi mi trebamo ostati fokusirani na to da se brinemo o sebi i o tome kako se osjećamo pa će ovo vrijeme u karanteni biti veoma lagano za preživjeti.

  1. Odličan post! Predlozi su zaista super! Ja ovih dana više kuvam i pripremam slatkiše, tako da na kraju karantina moćiću i poslastičarnicu da otvorim. Proćiće i ovo, samo neka smo zdravi.

  2. Odličan post! Dok traje ova karantena najviše sam zauzeta učenjem za fax i online predavanjima. Osim toga, u slobodno vrijeme se trudim da više čitam knjige i želim češće pisati blog. 🙂

  3. Great ideas, I also do many of these things during my quarantine. I’ve been working from home for 3 weeks now, and it doesn’t feel that time is slower than usual, on the contrary, it flies by just as fast as it always did!

    • It’s like that when you are working on something, I also notice that but I must admit I miss my loved ones and I can’t wait for this to end so I can see and hug them again! Thank you so much!
