First Time Putting On Lenses?! | LensCircle

So, a while ago, I got a package from LensCircle web shop containing three pair of circle lenses in gray and green colors. In today’s post, I will share with you my opinion about LensCircle and you’ll be able to hear my first experience in applying lenses.

Firstly, I’m going to show you what I got in the package – there were six little bottles containing three pair of lenses (one in green and two in gray color), little cards with explanation on how to use these lenses and boxes for storage. The cutest thing in this package was definitely this little pink box with little animal (which I am not sure about in the front) with cupcake on its head.

So this came in the little pink box. I am probably going to carry this box everywhere because it’s the cutest and it has a little mirror on the inside – a must have for every girl.

So before I show you how it looks like when I wear gray lenses, I will share with you few information about these lenses.

What are circle lenses?

Circle lenses are special extra-wide contact lenses that make eyes appear larger when worn. The popularity of circle lenses has been growing with celebrities such as Lady Gaga spotted wearing circle lenses in the “Bad Romance” music video. Thousands of people are switching to circle lenses because there are more styles and colors to choose from, they make eyes your eyes appear larger and they are much more affordable than conventional contact lenses.

The difference between normal contact lenses and circle lenses

The main reason why normal contact lenses appear smaller than circle lenses when worn is because the tint on normal lenses only cover the iris of the eye, while circle lenses have an extra-wide tint around the outer rim of the lens larger than the iris of the eye (this area is transparent on normal contact lenses).

I have green eyes but a little bit weird green – that has a little bit of yellow in it, like an army green maybe ? Anyways, I have a weird color of eyes and I was wondering how would gray lenses look on me. This is the result which came from a lot of sufferings in trying to put the lenses on.

It was my first time putting any lenses on and I had absolutely no idea on how to properly do that.

Luckily, this little set of cards from LensCircle explains it a lot, but I also watched some YouTube tutorials. There are a lot of ways on how to put on the lenses so I’m not going to tell you to follow the rules step by step because it’d be the best for you to actually realize what works for you the easiest. For example, some video tutorials say that you should use your left hand for right eye and vice versa but I actually use only my right hand for putting the lenses on. Just follow your intuition. Stay relaxed as much as possible and do it patiently.

Just don’t be scared, you won’t lose your ability to see or make your eyes hurt, lenses are harmless. BUT, only if you buy them from a trusted seller, like LensCircle web shop.

It might cause some tears, I know I had my eyes full of tears when I put on the first lens but it’s totally normal and you shouldn’t be worried at all.

It might look weird to you to see yourself with different eye color in the mirror at first, I even look scary to my friends when I wear these but I think it’s kind of cool and it’s good to try out new things, especially if you are into makeup and want to do any celebrity makeup tutorial, to make it 100% the same, you can just put on the lenses with their eye color. Isn’t that amazing?
